The Digital Holocaust Memory Project
This project explores the ways in which Holocaust memorial museums, archives and educational organisations are using digital technology at a time when neo-Nazism and Holocaust denial are becoming increasing prevalent online.
The project’s aims are:
- To contribute to the development of better practice regarding the use of digital technology in response to Holocaust denial
- To advance academic knowledge regarding the topic of digital Holocaust memory
- To raise public awareness about concerns related to Holocaust denial and neo-Nazism in digital spaces
- To establish a network of professionals and academics engaging with these issues in relation to Holocaust and genocide memory and education. You can find out more about the project lead, Dr Victoria Grace Walden here.
